Being a great hairstylist and salon owner to Megan means, not only does your skill set need to exude excellence but it’s just as important that your customer service and leadership does the same. Megan Hollinger, the lead stylist and educator behind Hollibeauty Salon Studio, officially committed to this fascinating industry in 2010 in Metro Detroit, Michigan. Ever since then Megan has been traveling all over training and working with some of the best in this industry, such as Tabatha Coffey, Johnny Ramirez, and Anh Co Tran! From working with celebrities, Megan learned that they are people too just like the rest of us and to always stay humble and professional. Her passion for this industry and the way people feel in her presence truly sets her apart.
In 2014, Megan made the move to Chicago and it has been full speed ahead since day one! After Megan’s time spent doing hair for some designers at New York Fashion Week, she decided to brand her work as Hollibeauty(so she could keep part of her last name forever!) and of course because of her true love for beauty inside and out. She worked as an educator for a few companies and pursued some freelance education for fellow stylists. Education is and always will be at the forefront of this journey. Hollibeauty has grown tremendously in the past few years and will continue to do so with the help of all of you! After 2020, Megan has decided to bring the business home base closer to family in Michigan again after all these years and will be splitting time between Metro Detroit and Chicago so be sure to follow along on this exciting new chapter for Hollibeauty Salon Studio!
